All Protea Textware programs can be purchased as a single user licence
program or a multi-user licence (5, 10, 20 or more than 20 concurrent users)
program. Please note that 'user' refers to the maximum number of computers on
which you can run the program at any one time.
Home user licence
A home user licence program comes with bookshelf packaging, one CDROM, a manual
(with workbook or record sheets) and a registration/licence card. It does not
include tracking modules (where available).
It is for learners' personal use in their own home.
Single user licence
A single user licence program comes with bookshelf packaging, one CDROM, a
manual (with workbook or record sheets) and a registration/licence card.
It is for use on a single computer at a school, library, college or other
organization.
Multi-user or network licence
All multi-user licence programs come with bookshelf packaging, one CDROM, a
manual (with workbook or record sheets), a registration/licence card and a
password. The programs can be run across a network. On a network, the program
can be run from each workstation by accessing a copy of the CDROM on a network
server HD drive (recommended) or a single CDROM in a network server CD drive. On
stand-alone PCs, the program can be run on each PC by accessing a copy of the
CDROM on the PC HD drive or a CDROM in each PC CD drive. Additional CDROMs may
be purchased for this purpose. See program information for space requirements to
download the CDROM to a HD drive.
Licence upgrades
Licence upgrades can be purchased by paying the difference between the cost of
your existing licence and the cost of the new licence you require. Proof of
purchase (provided in the original package) is required to upgrade a licence.
